the amount of time betwixt posts on my journal just goes to show how interesting the current life of gaz is. I did go out for a curry with workmates on fri followed by a drunken jaunt around loughborough on Saturday

i need to dance like a knobhead at a dive of an indie club, my body and mind needs it

in other news, derby county have invented a new kind of drab football, it involves signing a number of loan players who are quite average and don't give a shit while playing. but the manager reassures that there are top quality players that are being looked at, i can imagine it will be a 37 year old ex-albanian international with the aggression of a tank and the disciplinary record and maneuverability to match

can someone suggest something to cheer me up, ive tried accessorising with sexy cigarette cases and wristbands, might get a tattoo or summink

Hello!!!

If i was any good at writing i would tell you all about Leeds Festival, here is a 'snippet'
Pixies, Adam Green, Sons and Daughters were all wonderful

My mood was ok most of the time but by Sunday was below sea level, back to work on tuesday and broke down crying like a loon, doc has signed me off for 2 weeks and referred me to the man, the upside is that i'll get to watch the test match while eating yoghurt

Anyone who wants to get in touch and pretend to be nice to me would be greatly appreciated and may even have a drink bought for them

The Prince of Darkness has finally completed a £34.4m plus Jose Mourhino's soul move from French club Lyon to Premiership champions Chelsea.
Beelzeebub, 3068, has signed a five-year deal and becomes the Stamford Bridge club's record signing.

BRITISH SEA POWER have been banned in America.

The Brighton quintet, who are currently touring the States, have been told that their new single 'Please Stand Up' is not suitable for MTV.

However rather than any offending visual content, it’s the use of word “wet” that has apparently worried the American network.

"MTV USA have objected to a line in the video saying it doesn't meet standards. What standards does the line "wetter and wetter" violate?” a spokesperson for the band told NME.COM. “We would like to be told why this language from one of our richest, most literate groups is being squashed by a committee of McCarthyites."

Undaunted by American censor, ‘Please Stand Up’ is released in the UK on May 23, while the band play the Scala on May 25 with Ed Harcourt, before hosting club night Adventures In The Beetroot Fields at Electrowerkz in London on May 27.
